THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The project 'CM with Me' will be launched to ensure active participation of the people in governance and further strengthen communication between the government and the people. The cabinet meeting approved the launch of the comprehensive Citizen Connect Center for the project named CM with Me. The Citizen Connect Centre will be launched in the building acquired from Air India in Vellayambalam. The Public Relations Department and the Revenue Department should ensure the systems, management and supervision. Rs. 20 crore will be allocated to PRD for the campaign.
The Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board has been tasked with providing basic facilities and human resources. Government employees including KAS officers will be appointed. The aim is to create public involvement in areas such as housing, healthcare, education, infrastructure and environmental sustainability, ensure responses to public complaints, increase public participation through public contact, and speed up government assistance by ensuring information and services.
This transparent and innovative system will fulfill the government's commitment to reach out to all sections of society, listen to people's opinions, and find solutions to problems. It will ensure that people are not only beneficiaries of development but also active participants in shaping the future of the state.
