THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Lottery Department's Thiruvonam bumper ticket sales have crossed 70 lakhs. With only seven days left for the draw, 70,74,550 tickets have been sold. Out of the total 75 lakh tickets printed, 4,25,450 tickets are yet to be sold. For the smooth conduct of the lottery sales, the district and sub-district lottery offices will remain open on Sunday (21-0925), which is normally a holiday.
The highest sale was reported in Palakkad. 13,66,260 tickets were sold here. Even in 2024, the most ticket sales were reported in Palakkad. The first prize of the Onam Bumper Lottery is Rs 25 crore. The second prize is Rs 1 crore each for 20 people, the third prize is Rs 50 lakh each for 20 people, the fourth prize is Rs 5 lakh each for 10 series, and the fifth prize is Rs 2 lakh each for 10 series.
In addition, prizes ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 500 are being given. This year's Thiruvonam Bumper, which costs Rs 500, will be drawn on the 27th of this month at 2 pm.
