THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar got angry with the media's questions related to the suicide of the BJP councillor. The question was related to the assault on the media personnel who had come to report the death of Thirumala Anil.

"Who told you? Which channel are you from? Stop, just sit there. You just sit there. Don't ask anything. I won't answer. It's a councillor who committed suicide. Don't spread lies like this. You are telling a blatant lie. Aren't you ashamed to talk about a dead person like this?" asked Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Meanwhile, more details have emerged about the suicide of the BJP councillor. It was Thiruvananthapuram Thirumala ward councillor Anil Kumar (58) who committed suicide. It is reported that Anil had left Rs 10,000 on the table for his death rites. The suicide note also mentions this money. The money was left on the table in the room where he committed suicide. Anil Kumar committed suicide at his councillor's office in Thirumala at around 8:30 am yesterday. The suicide note also alleges that the party did not help Anil Kumar when there was a problem in the Valiyasala Farm Society, where Anil Kumar was an office bearer.
