Forest watcher killed in tiger attack in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: A forest watcher was killed in a tiger attack. The dead is Anil Kumar (32), a watcher of Tiger Reserve in Periyar. His body remains were found Tuesday morning near the first point on the way to Ponnambalamedu.

Anil left home on Sunday saying that he was going to collect forest resources. His body was found in the search conducted after he went missing. He leaves behind his wife Manju and children Vidya, Nithya and Adarsh. He belongs to the adivasi community.
