Mahakavi G Sankara Kurup’s daughter Radha dies

KOCHI: Radha, daughter of Mahakavi G Sankara Kurup and wife of Professor M Achuthan, died here today. She was 86. She died at her daughter Bhadra’s, former deputy mayor of Kochi Municipality, flat in Edapally. She will be laid to rest at Ravipuram tomorrow morning at 11 am.

Her other children are Dr Nandini Nair (Cutis Skin Clinic Ernakulam), Dr Nirmala Pillai (Pune) and son -in -laws Mohan Nair (famous oncologist), G M Pillai (writer) and G Madhoosodanan (IAS, Pune).
