Unnikrishnan Potty sold gold extracted from Dwarpalaka idols; purchased by Bellary businessman 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a crucial statement that Unnikrishnan Potty sold the gold extracted by Smart Creations from the Dwarpalaka idols in Sabarimala. The yellow metal was purchased by Govardhan, a gold businessman in Bellary. The Special Investigation Team recorded Govardhan's statement. The Special Investigation Team has informed that Unnikrishnan Potty will be taken to Bellary to collect evidence.

The investigation team had received crucial information related to the case in the past few days. Based on this, the investigation team took Unnikrishnan Potty to Bengaluru early this morning to collect evidence. Unnikrishnan Potty had given a statement that he sold the extracted gold and according to that, he was taken to Bellary.

Meantime, the statement of former administrative officer Murari Babu, who was arrested in the case, has also turned crucial. His statement is that he registered as copper in the mahasar as per the directions of the top officials. Unnikrishnan Potty had also given a similar statement to the investigation team earlier. With this, the noose against the Devaswom top officials has tightened. The high court has ordered to investigate everything including the intervention of the present board.
