
BIHAR: The campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections to be held on 6th will end today. Various political parties are campaigning with top leaders. 1314 candidates in 121 constituencies spread across 18 districts are seeking votes.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Nitish Kumar led the campaign for the NDA, the INDIA front fielded Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav. National leaders arrived for the ally CPM and CPI parties. The grand alliance is offering one government job per family to counter the NDA's Rs 10,000 loan scheme for women. The grand alliance is resisting the NDA campaign to prevent the return of RJD's jungle raj by citing the Mokama shooting.
