THRISSUR: The police had recently registered a case against Jasna Salim for allegedly filming reels again at the Guruvayur temple. Now, Jasna Salim has responded to the issue. In a video shared on her Instagram page, Jasna said that she did nothing wrong and that she only recorded a video of a shop in Guruvayur.
"I did not shoot any video at the Nadappandal. It was a YouTube channel that shot the video of me coming out of the Guruvayur temple. The video was shared by that YouTube channel and not me. I have not captured any video there. I only shot a video of a shop in Guruvayur, and that video is there on my channel. I haven't done anything wrong. A case has been registered against me for something I have never even thought of. Earlier, in the cake controversy, the cake I cut did not contain eggs," Jasna said.
The case was filed based on a complaint from the temple administrator. Earlier, Jasna had filmed a reel video inside the temple, after which the High Court issued an order banning reel shooting at the Nadappandal. The latest complaint was filed on November 5, after a social media post about the new video went viral.
Previously, Jasna had faced criticism for celebrating her birthday by cutting a cake at the Nadappandal, and a video of that went viral. Following that, the High Court banned all video shoots in the walkway- except for religious ceremonies or weddings. Despite that order, Jasna is accused of filming reels again.
