19-year-old girl found dead in hostel

KOTHAMANGALAM: A college student was found dead in the hostel. The dead is Nandana (19), a first year BBA student. She was a native of Mankulam. She was found hanging in a fan in the hostel of Indira Gandhi College in Nellikuzhi. The other students had gone home since it was a holiday. When her friend came to call her for breakfast, there was no response. When looked through the window, found her hanging.

On being informed, the police arrived and broke opened the door. The hostel is inside the college campus. Her father came forward alleging mystery in her death. He said that she called him last on Friday. She demanded an amount of Rs 31,000 to pay the fees and had sent it. Sometimes a delay occurs in paying the fees. My youngest daughter is also studying. Her death should be investigated, he said.
