Case registered against couple for immoral traffic

CHERUVATHUR: The police caught a team engaged in immoral traffic from a lodge. The incident happened at Cheruvathur in Kasargod. Four women and two men were nabbed from the lodge during a search conducted. The police advised and left them. The Chandera police registered a case against Muhammed Asinar (47) and his wife Nazeema (47) for running the sex racket.

A team led by Kanhangad DySP Suresh Babu conducted a search on Monday night following secret information of immoral activities at Malabar Lodge on the old national highway. A case was registered against the couple on the complaint of Chandera police inspector K Prashanth.


In a search conducted by the police last year, a woman from another state had jumped from the lodge. She was seriously injured and was undergoing treatment at Pariyaram Medical College then.
