NEW DELHI: The daughter-in-law of business magnate Kamal Kishor Chaurasia, the man behind Kamla Pasand and Rajshree brands, was found dead at her residence in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar.

Deepti Chaurasia (40), who is married to Kishor’s son Arpit, was found dead at her luxury residence today. The preliminary investigation points to this being a case of suicide. It is reported that Deepti hanged herself using a dupatta.

A detailed probe is on the way, while police doubt issues within the family have pushed Deepti to end her life. The couple married in 2010 and has a 14-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. The post-mortem will be done at Safdarjung Hospital. More details are awaited in the case.
