Pinarayi with 10 important questions for V.D. Satheesan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has accused the opposition leader of trying to frame the CPM for revealing a series of incidents of harassment by the Youth Congress leader MLA. The Chief Minister wrote in a Facebook post that the distorted face of the Congress and the UDF cannot be hidden with such ghastly blunders. He also posed some questions to the opposition leader V.D. Satheesan.

1. The then UDF convener M.M. Hassan announced that all four missions, including the Life Mission, would be dissolved. Do you still stand by that? If not, why don't you reject Hassan?

2. The opposition has supported all the unfounded objections against the Vizhinjam port. The port has been commissioned. Will the opposition leader stick to his old stance?

3. The opposition leader had said that he would oppose projects including the Wayanad tunnel. Work on the tunnel has already begun. Will he still oppose it?

4. The opposition leader wrote to me asking not to implement the coastal highway. Is the opposition continuing?

5. IACC General Secretary KC Venugopal said that providing welfare pension to about 62 lakh people is a bribe to get votes. Does the opposition leader also see those who receive the pension as bribe takers?

6. The then KPCC President VM Sudheeran and League leader PK Kunhalikutty were the ones who said that the GAIL pipeline would not be implemented and led the protest. The GAIL pipeline is a reality. Has the old stance been changed?
