Woman found dead at husband’s house in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A woman was found dead in her husband’s house at Vengara in Malappuram. The dead is Jaleesa (31), wife of Nisar at Minikap in Cheroor. She was found hanging in a shed adjacent to the kitchen of the house.

The two have been married for more than ten years. They have three children. A dispute broke out with the woman's relatives at Nisar's house the other day. It is not clear whether this led to the suicide. The Vengara police have registered a case and started an investigation after the relatives alleged foul play in her death. The body has been shifted to Manjeri Medical College Hospital. She will be laid to rest after postmortem.
