Young Kerala farmer stages unique 'milk bath' protest after society's bizarre claim; video viral on social media

KOLLAM: A young farmer staged a unique protest following the milk society’s claim that he brought curdled milk sour in taste. The incident took place in Paravur, Kollam. In front of the milk producers' society in Koonayil, young dairy farmer Vishnu poured the milk he brought over his head. The young man decided on the strange protest after being irked over the repeated claims of society that the milk he brought was curdled and of poor quality.

Vishnu even shared visuals of his protest on social media, evoking a massive response from netizens. The farmer alleged that society suddenly decided not to accept the milk after he brought out the fraud that the milk he provided was billed in the name of other farmers.

“I am a farmer who sells sixty-one cows a month. They are not accepting the milk because they are jealous of me selling this many cows and doing business. The milk I gave was transferred to someone else's name. I am suffering a lot due to this stance of society. They are harassing me,' Vishnu said in the video.

Vishnu alleged that massive fraud is ongoing in society and said they have filed fake cases against him. However, the society authorities are not happy with the accuracy in the density of the milk Vishnu brings to the society. They alleged that the milk was curdled and sour.
