Elderly man, hit by popular Malayalam actor's car, succumbs to injuries; Sidharth's arrest soon

KOTTAYAM: An elderly man, who was undergoing treatment in a road accident involving serial star Sidharth Prabhu, died on Thursday night. Thangaraj, a native of Tamil Nadu, died while undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College Hospital. The accident took place on the night of the 24th of last month. Sidharth Prabhu, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was stopped by locals after he hit Thangaraj. The elderly had suffered head injuries in the incident.

The accident took place near Nattakom Government College on MC Road. Thangaraj was thrown onto the road in the impact of the crash.

When confronted by locals, the actor abused others, and a fight broke out. Later, the Chingavanam police arrived and took the actor into custody and released him on bail. It is reported that Sidharth will be arrested under more sections.
