Just 10 days after returning from India: Indian couple killed in car accident in US, children critically injured

WASHINGTON: An Indian couple was killed in a tragic car accident in the United States. The victims have been identified as Krishna Kishore (45), a native of Palakollu in Andhra Pradesh, and his wife Asha (40). The couple's two children were seriously injured in the accident and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

According to reports, the accident occurred in Washington while the family was travelling in a car. The couple died on the spot. Emergency responders rushed their injured son and daughter to a nearby hospital.

Krishna Kishore, a software engineer, and his family had returned to the US just ten days ago after spending a vacation in India. They had travelled back to the US via Dubai and had also taken part in New Year celebrations there. The sudden death of the couple has left relatives and local residents in deep shock.

Family members are trying to gather updates on the health condition of the children, who are undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, members of the Telugu community and the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) have stepped in to assist with arrangements to bring the bodies back to India and to provide support for the injured children.
