Koodathayi murders: Complainant Rojo reach sister’s house, statement to be recorded

KOZHIKODE: Rojo who lodged a complaint seeking a probe in the Koodathayi multiple murders, has reached the state. Rojo, who is in USA reached the state as per the request of the investigating team. Rojo, who landed at Nedumbassery Airport went to his sister Renji’s house at Vaikkom in Kottayam in police security. Roji is the brother of Roy Thomas, first husband of Jolly, the main accused in the Koodathayi multiple murders.

In the meanwhile, Jolly’s second husband Shaju and his father Zacharias appeared before the investigating team at the SP office in Vatakara. The police had yesterday handed over a notice asking them to appear before them today. Shaju is being questioned at the third time.

Meantime, the team formed to give technical assistance to the investigating team will reach Koodathayi today and collect evidences. The team will first hold talks with rural SP K G Simon and then fix the structure of the investigation. The eight member team is led by Information and Communication Technology SP Dr Divya V Gopinath. DGP formed a special investigating team including forensic science laboratory director and finger print bureau director.
