‘I'm Game’, the upcoming Malayalam action thriller about cricket, directed by Nahas Hidhayath and starring Dulquer Salmaan, caught in a controversy on Sunday after speculation rose about a reshoot and the director having a fallout with producers. The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films.

Some rumours surfaced on Sunday saying that the lead actor was not satisfied with the product and hence the reshoot. There were also social media rumours of the production incurring heavy losses after one of the sets constructed for the movie collapsed. Amid growing speculation, the movie’s writer Shabas Rasheed shared a cryptic post on social media with a quote from eminent novelist Paulo Coelho.

“Don’t waste your time with explanations, people only hear what they want to hear” This was the quote shared by Shabas on social media.

As per reports, the movie completed 100 days of shooting and will take another 40 more days before heading to post-production work. The movie will likely reach theatres on Onam 2026.
