No clothes on body; middle-aged man jumps to death from jewellery building in Kochi

KOCHI: The man who fell from a jewellery building in the city has died. He has not been identified. The initial conclusion is that it was a suicide. The Ernakulam Central Police said that they are investigating the incident. The body has been shifted to the morgue. The deceased is a man who appears to be in his 50s.

The incident took place at around 1 pm today. The body was found lying on the ground as he fell from the multi-storey building. It is believed that he jumped from the third floor. There were no clothes on his body when he fell. The mundu he was wearing was lying on the third floor of the building.

Police say they suspect he climbed up to the sixth floor of the building. Although he climbed up to the sixth floor, there are no openings from there. It is believed that he came down to the third floor and jumped from there. Police also say he may have died instantly from the impact of the fall.
