"Dated one guy from cinema, he was just engaged": Actress Mamta Mohandas opens up about past relationships in podcast with Suhasini 

Actress Mamta Mohandas revealed that she had dated someone from the film industry. Mamta revealed this while talking to Suhasini on 'Second Sunrises by Jos Alukkas' podcast.

"I've only dated one guy from cinema. Believe me, he was just engaged when he asked me out on a date. And I got to know that only a month later. I found out from his brother. I then asked, 'Why did he ask me out on a date?' So there was a little bit of a lie there. Obviously, I was heartbroken because this was the first time I told my mom that someone has asked me out on a date. I asked, " May I go?" and she said yes.

Then I met another guy. Message, call,.... he's not there. He would call four after 4 days after 5 days. I'm like, this is not for me.

Then I met Prajith, my ex-husband, at his twin sister's wedding. During that wedding, it was a very casual thing cuz he's from Beharin and I've known him. We're not childhood friends, but I've seen him once when we were 13 or 14 years old. He's two days younger than me, so everything was very interesting. So we connected on silly things.

He said, " Do you think we can get married cuz its my twin sister's marriage just got over. So I said, " Yeah, okay, fine, talk to my dad. It was as simple as that. That quick... because it was like fulfilling all the checklist. That's it.

Marriage means work. You have to work in a relationship, no matter whom you get married to. And I thought because I'm done with this one year of my cancer, people will take me seriously or my partner will take me seriously. But I was too young to know any better. I think in 6 months, I had to walk away from it and it was not an easy decision. Definitely not because I insisted on that marriage, not my parents," Mamta clarified.
