'Veruthe Alla Bharya' is a reality show that came out in Malayalam a few years ago with actress Shwetha Menon as the anchor. It was one of the most favourite shows of the family audience. The show, aired on a private channel, was promoted as the first reality show where wives judged their husbands. Many contestants from the show later became active in cinema and social fields.

Among those who gained fame through the show were motivational speaker Philip Mampad and his wife, Dolly Philip. Recently, a sexual assault case was registered against Philip Mampad. Now, director Alleppey Ashraf has responded to the issue.

“The reality show Veruthe Alla Bharya, which was aired on a private channel, was very popular among family audiences. It was promoted as the first reality show where wives judged their husbands. Philip Mampad and Dolly Philip were contestants on the show. They had many viewers who liked them. But those beliefs of the audience later turned out to be wrong.

Philip is now in jail for deceiving his family, his wife, and the viewers, and for committing serious crimes. He is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl with mental challenges. Until these allegations came out, he held a respected place in the hearts of many people. He presented himself as a good and kind person, sharing positive messages with children through social media. He showed a respectable image to the public while hiding his true nature.

He had earlier shown love towards his wife and care for his mother in public. If this cruel act had not come to light, hundreds of girls and mothers might have suffered. However, there are still some people who believe that Philip has not committed the crime. They argue that he has been falsely implicated. The police are handling the case very carefully. Since the accused is a former police officer, every stage of the investigation is being conducted with special attention,” said Alleppey Ashraf.
