Plus Two student found hanging

PALODE: A Plus Two student was found hanging in her house in Pangode. The deceased has been identified as Sreelakshmi (17), a native of Kakkottukunnu in Pangode. She was found hanging from a window in the bedroom of their rented house at Pachavattappullu at around 8.45 am on Sunday.

She was a Plus Two student of Anad Higher Secondary School. Her father, Sreekanth, works as a tapping labourer in Karnataka. Sreelakshmi's mother and younger sister were at home at the time of the incident. The body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem examination today and will be taken to their house at Kakkottukunnu for the funeral.
