KOCHI: A navy staff was arrested for spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency for money. The arrested is Adarsh Kumar of Agra. He was posted at the southern naval command in Kochi. He was arrested for passing on important information, including pictures of strategic locations and warships, to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Digital evidence will be collected from his phone. It will be investigated whether he has carried out similar espionage activities at other places where he had worked earlier.

He was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad. There were evidences for Adarsh Kumar establishing contact with a Pakistan based ISI handler.
