Kumbh mela fame Monalisa marries boyfriend Farman at Arumanoor Temple in Poovar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kumbh Mela viral beauty Monalisa and her boyfriend Farman Khan got married at Arumanoor Sri Nainaar Deva Temple near Poovar in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. Monalisa, who had sought shelter at the Thampanoor police station with her boyfriend Farman, got married in a ceremony held in the evening. CPM state secretary M.V. Govindan was present at the wedding. Moni Bhosle, also known as Monalisa, a native of Indore in Madhya Pradesh, and Farman Khan, a native of Maharashtra, sought police help from the shooting set in Poovar.

Monalisa said that her father objected to the marriage and was trying to take her back to Indore forcibly. Monalisa said that her family was against her marrying a man of another religion and revealed that her family had already agreed to marry her off to her relative.
