Heading to my hometown to seek the people’s mandate.
Dear all, for more than 25 years, I have come before you through stages, television, cinema, and other media. During this time, I believe I have shared thoughts and laughter in a respectful and decent way. Now, I am taking up a new responsibility and heading to my hometown Palakkad as an Assembly candidate.
I am standing with the great movement called Congress, which has played a major role in building India as a secular nation since the freedom struggle. I feel proud and happy to contest under the hand symbol, which has received the highest number of votes in the world for over 50 years.
From now on, the people of Palakkad and their needs will be my top priority. I am taking a break from my stage programmes.
I have always received love from all of you beyond politics, beliefs, and boundaries. I will work hard to return that love. I believe you will continue to support me as always.
With love,
Ramesh Pisharody
