BJP releases second list of candidates; Kummanam to contest from Aranmula, Dr Robin Radhakrishnan in Kundara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP has released the second phase candidates list for the assembly elections. Kummanam Rajasekharan will contest from Aranmula and former Bigg Boss star Dr Robin Radhakrishnan from Kundara. The second phase list included the names of 39 candidates. There were 47 in the first list. The BJP has announced a total of 86 candidates. The candidates for Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta constituencies have not been announced.

B Gopalakrishnan, who had expressed dissatisfaction for not getting the Kodungallur seat, has been given Guruvayur. Former MLA C C Mukundan is contesting in Nattika. The second list has the names of four women candidates. One more list is likely to be released. BJP will contest in 96 constituencies.
