THRISSUR: A woman died following health issues soon after her delivery. Muhasina (37) of Chavakkad in Thrissur died soon after her seventh delivery. She had delivered her seventh baby in January. However, her baby died on the sixth day after delivery and now Muhasina has also died.

Her relatives levelled serious allegations against her husband Ibrahim over her death. The relatives alleged that despite the injuries on Muhsina's body and her deteriorating health, her husband refused to provide her allopathic treatment and instead gave her acupuncture treatment. Relatives complain that her husband did not allow her to contact her family.

Her father and sister, who visited her the other day, saw her miserable condition and forcibly took her to the hospital. However, Muhsina succumbed to her injuries without treatment. Based on the complaint filed by Muhsina's family, the Chavakkad police have registered a case and started an investigation.
