Two women, three children found dead at home in Kochi

KOCHI: Five including two women and three children were found dead inside a house. The incident happened at Green Garden near Lourde Hospital in Ernakulam’s Vaduthala. The initial conclusion is that it is a case of suicide. The dead are natives of Thiruvananthapuram. They had come to Aster Medcity for treatment and were staying in a rented house.

The dead are members of a family. A suicide note has been recovered from the house. They have been identified as Sreekumari of Kanaka Vihar at Karode in Vilappilsala, her daughter Aswathi S Nair and her children Karnivan (14) Keerthivan (10) and a two- -year-old girl.

A neighbor said they had been staying here for the past two months. The police reached the spot and started further proceedings. No further details of the incident have been released. The police said the investigation is progressing.
