Newborn baby dies in Malappuram

NILAMBUR: A 36-days old newborn, who was sleeping with his mother, has been found dead. The baby is son of Sivan of Nilambur Chungathara Kunnath and Ambujam.

The baby was admitted at a private hospital in Chungathara on Sunday night after he started bleeding from the nose. As there was no change in his health condition, he was admitted at Nilambur district hospital and then at Manjeri Medical College, but his life could not be saved. The body was handed over to his family. Ambujam delivered the baby on February 16 at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
