One killed in major fire in Ernakulam’s oil company

KOCHI: A major fire broke out at an oil company in Ernakulam’s Edayar. Reports say one person has been killed in the accident. The fire broke out at the oil manufacturing company C G Lubricants Thursday morning at 8.30 am. The fire brigade has reached the spot and are trying to douse the flames.

It is not clear how many employees are in the building. Nearly eight fire brigade units have reached the spot. All efforts are being taken to douse the flames and enter the building. The locals said a big explosion was also heard.
