BENGALURU: A woman jumped to her death from her apartment after finding her husband hanging. The incident happened on Monday evening. The couple have been identified as Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta (32), a software engineer from Siddipet, Telangana, and his wife Bibi Shazia Siraj (31). Bibi was working in a leading IT company IBM.

When Bibi returned to her apartment after work yesterday, she found the door locked. She grew suspicious after he failed to respond. She then informed the neighbours and the apartment security. When the neighbours came and forced open the door, they found Bhanu hanging. Immediately, Bibi ran out and jumped from the 17th floor of the building and died within minutes.

Based on the complaint filed by the family members in Telangana, the police have registered a case of unnatural death. They will examine the circumstances leading to the death. They will also check whether the couple was suffering from health issues or mental distress. Police officials said that further action will be taken after receiving the postmortem report.
