Malayali fires at three for trying to sexually assault woman; one dies

MUMBAI: A Malayali fired at three people for trying to sexually assault a woman at Mumbra in Thane, Maharashtra. One identified as Akbar Abdul Sheikh has lost his life in the incident. The Malayali has been identified as Jayan Sivanand Nair. The police have arrested him. The incident happened Thursday morning at 11 .30 am. The visuals of the three sexually assaulting the woman have surfaced.

Jayan fired them for teasing the woman in front of Suman Thai Chavan Hindi Primary School. Abdul Hasan Sheikh, Akbar Abdul Sheikh and Sameer Ahamed followed the woman identified as Anu Sheikh Hila and annoyed her. They have been behind her for quite some time.

They have tried to sexually assault her many times. Jayan said that he fired at them for trying to attack her whom he considered as a sister. He used a country gun to fire them. He was a soldier in the army. The police took him into custody when he tried to flee with her after the incident.
