Hailing from Sri Lanka, the 36-year-old actress was found dead at her rented apartment in Iyyappanthangal near Porur on Sunday night. It is reported that she took the extreme step during a video call with her husband, Bipin Chandran. The couple married in April 2024. Bipin is a native of Bengaluru. Marital dispute is believed to be the reason for the actress's decision to end her life.
As per initial reports, a heated debate ensued between the two during a video call, and Subashini went to the extreme of committing suicide while her helpless husband witnessed the act through the phone screen. Bipn immediately alerted the apartment security, and Subashini was thus rushed to the hospital. However, she was declared dead upon arrival.
