Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after cardiac arrest

MUMBAI: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle was admitted to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest. Bhosle was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The 92-year-old singer, who had been battling several health problems for the past few months, suffered a cardiac arrest this evening. She is being treated at the hospital's emergency department under the supervision of Dr Pratit Samdani.

Asha Bhosle, the most recorded artist in music history, is revered in India for her hits, including Piya Tu Ab To Aaja, Jaiye Aap Kahan Jayegangam, Rangeela Re, Sharara Sharara. She worked in the industry for eight decades.
