Youth commits suicide after strangling 16-year-old girl to death

KOZHIKODE: A youth committed suicide after strangling a 16-year-old girl to death. The incident happened in Kozhikode’s Moozhikkal. The dead is Nazreena, a plus one student. The murder was committed by the girl's relative, Adnan (20). Both are children of sisters. He reached the girl's house, committed the crime and then ended his life. He committed suicide in the room on the top floor of the girl's house. The police arrived and shifted the bodies to the hospital. The reason for the crime is not clear.

The youth was staying in the girl's house. The locals said that he moved out of the house six months ago due to some family issues. The locals also suspect that he entered the house using a fake key. Police said more details will be revealed only after postmortem.
