THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said that the state government is planning to open pubs in the state. He made the statement while attending a TV show.

According to the CM, the government is considering to open pubs in the state as it received several complaints about the lack of places meant for entertainment and recreation. Most of these complaints are raised by those working in IT sectors, he added.

He also added that the government is planning to introduce a system in BEVCO to avoid queuing up in front of outlets.
