NEW DELHI: The BJP on Thursday condemned the remarks made by Lok Sabha MP Pragya Singh Thakur in Parliament on Wednesday referring to Nathuram Godse and said it does not support such statements.
Following this, the party also removed Pragya from the Parliament defence consultative committee.
BJP working president JP Nadda announced that the MP will not be allowed to attend BJP's parliamentary party meetings during the rest of the Winter session. He said, "We have decided that Thakur will not attend meetings of BJP parliamentary party during the session."
