Kannan Gopinathan released from custody

LUCKNOW: Former IAS officer Kannan Gopinathan who was detained at UP border was released on Saturday evening. It was Gopinathan himself he revealed this through his Twitter page.

Earlier on Saturday, the former IAS officer was detained by the UP police while he was on his way to attend an anti-citizenship law protest at Aligarh Muslim University. Gopinathan was scheduled to speak at the AMU protest.
