Accident near Tenkasi, three including two Keralites killed

TENKASI: Three including two Keralites were killed in an accident near Vasudevanallur in Tenkasi. Sinchu K Nainan of Mannar in Kollam, Siju Thomas of Kalluvathukkal and Rajashekaran of Sivakasi were those killed. The incident happened Monday early morning at 4 am.

A private bus struck the car which was proceeding to their native place from Velankanni. The bus was proceeding to Sengottai from Chennai.

The bus struck the car halted on the roadside following a technical snag. Rajashekaran, was the driver of the recovery vehicle which came to remove the damaged car. The three died on the spot itself. Vasudevanallur police reached the spot as soon as the accident happened and took steps. The bodies are kept at the mortuary of Sivagiri Govt Hospital.

When the car broke down, the other passengers of the vehicle left for home after boarding an omni bus.
