THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Snake Master Vava Suresh had expressed his gratitude towards Medical College for saving his life for the eleventh time. “Hey Medical College is Super…! Treatment is superb,” Vava expressed his feelings after his health condition was out of danger and was shifted to the ward from the ICU. For the past seven days he had been undergoing effective treatment for the bite he had sustained from a provoked snake.
When Vava was under treatment, several fake news about his health condition had started appearing on social media. Braving all odds, Vava has now sprung back to his normal spirit and vigour.
This time the snake bite occurred when he was returning home after catching a viper from a house at Kalathur Edathara in Pathanamthitta on February 13. The mishap occurred when he stopped on the way back to drink water. The snake bit him when he tried to pull it out from the bottle he was carrying.
“During the previous ten times, the treatment for me was not free but this time, the State health department, especially Minister K K Shailaja intervened to provide me with VIP treatment, that too, for free.
I express my thanks to hospital superintend, doctors, nurses and other staff for working tirelessly to help me regain my health,” Vava added.
