Medico who treated corona victim placed under isolation in Thrissur

THRISSUR: A medical student has been admitted at an isolation ward in Thrissur. The medico came in close contact with the person who died of corona at Kalaburagi in Karnataka.

11 students of the medical team who treated the infected in Kalaburagi reached Thrissur yesterday. Two went to Palakkad.

One from the team showed signs of fever and so was admitted at the isolation ward of the general hospital.

The test results of the 25 under treatment on suspicion of corona turned to be negative. 23 samples were sent for examination on Saturday. 1822 people are under observation in the district. 60 of them are in various hospitals. 24 were discharged from hospitals.

Two close relatives of the corona infected in Thrissur are in the isolation ward. A two-year-old child is one among them. The test results of them will be obtained today.
