KASARGOD: Strict action will be taken against those defying directives of the government in wake of the rise in corona infected, said Kasargod district collector Dr D Sajith Babu. The number of patients in the district increased due to the careless behaviour of a pravasi. If any NRK violates the government's directives, steps will be taken like they will never see Gulf again, the collector told a leading media.

‘What is worrying is that the disease spread from second patient to the seventh patient because they travelled together for twenty minutes. A small percentage of the people here do not understand. A society who does not understand can be seen working against a large percentage of the remaining. It cannot be permitted. Strong action will be taken against those violating laws.

‘We are hundred percent sincere. We expect the cooperation of the people. Majority of the people cooperates. Our intention is to make the remaining cooperate. It still needs restrictions. A lot of people makes a living working in the Gulf. We have been very specific to them. If they violate government's directives, steps will be taken like they will never see Gulf again,’ he said.
