Kerala sub-collector with foreign travel history violates quarantine, leaves state

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A sub-collector who was in quarantine due to suspected corona infection, goes missing. Anupam Misra, Kollam sub-collector, was contacted by health officials and in response, he said he is in Kanpur. Misra was in quarantine from March 19 after foreign travel. The young IAS officer's violation of rules is seen as a serious offense.

19 persons were tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday. The total number of patients under treatment for the diseases in the state is 126.
