THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union minister of state for external affairs V Muraleedharan on Thursday said that Kerala should immediately identify the people who had attended the Nizamuddin congregation in Delhi and subject them to coronavirus test. Authorities must find them as early as possible and should not wait till the entire state gets infected, he said.
The Union minister also accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of using the situation for the sake of political gain. "Though claiming anything with an eye on the vote bank might be right in politics, the CM should not have stooped to the level of using the coronavirus crisis to achieve political mileage. Why is the state government adamant that social media posts by people and questions by the media should always be in their favour? Keeping intolerance aside, the CM should realise the facts behind the criticism," he said.
