Two Keralites die in US and Saudi of COVID-19

NEW YORK: Two Keralites have died in US and Saudi after contracting COVID-19. Thankachan Enchanattu (51), a native of Muttam in Thodupuzha died in New York. He was an official of New York Metropolitan Transport Authority. With this the total number of Keralites who died in US rose to three. He was a resident of Queens in New York. He leaves behind his wife Sheeba and children Mathews and Syril. Another employee of New York Metropolitan Transport Authority had died earlier.

Safwan (38) of Tirurangadi in Malappuram died Saturday night at Saudi German Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for fever. He was a driver in Saudi Arabia. His relatives said that he developed symptoms of the virus and that his test results were positive. The reason for his death has not been officially announced. His wife Kamaruniza reached Riyadh last month.
