THODUPUZHA: Three persons in Idukki, declared by Collector as Covid positive on Tuesday morning, are still in a state of confusion whether they actually have the disease.

Their results turned positive in the test conducted in Kottayam lab. The test results of their samples sent for retest to Alappuzha virology lab are yet to come. Because of this, their relatives and those who came into contact with them are in a state of anxiety.

The three persons declared as Covid cases by district collector H Dineshan are

1) 35-year-old Thodupuzha Corporation Councilor,
2) Paingottoor native and 50-year-old nurse at Thodupuzha district and
3) Narakakkanam native and 25-year-old youth who had returned from Bengaluru.

Though the chief minister said in his press conference on Tuesday that their disease could be confirmed only after retest results are out, they were admitted to hospital on Monday night itself.

Meanwhile, Idukki DMO Dr N Priya said that the three persons are healthy and they have not started medicines as they had no symptoms.
