Virtual queue for devotees in Sabarimala from next week

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran has said devotees will be allowed to enter Sabarimala through virtual queue from next week but only 50 people will be allowed to enter the temple at a time.

Entry wont’ be allowed through Vandiperiyar and thermal scanners will be set up at Pampa and Sannidhanam. Sabarimala temple priests will be given exemption from age restrictions. “However, all devotees will have to follow Covid protocol for getting darshan. There will be no VIP darshan. For devotees from other states, they will have to carry medical certificate to prove that they are not Covid affected,” he added.
