THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister C Raveendranath announced the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination. The pass percentage this year is 98.82. This is 0.71% higher than last year.
4,22,292 students from the regular section had written the exam. Of that, 4,17,000 are eligible for higher studies. This year’s victory is without moderation. 41,906 have obtained A plus for all subjects. This was 37,334 last year. Malappuram district has the most number of students with A plus.
Of the 1770 students who wrote privately, 1356 are eligible for higher studies. Their win is 76.61%. 637 government schools have registered a 100% win. 404 unaided schools have recorded a 100% win.
Pathanamthitta district has the highest pass percentage and the lowest in Wayanad. There is a 100% win in Kuttanad. The exam date for SAY will be announced later.
The results of THSLC, AHSLC, SSLC (hearing impaired) have also been announced. The examination pass board met in the morning to approve the results.
