18 nuns test positive for COVID in Kochi, excise circle inspector also contract disease

KOCHI: 18 nuns in Kochi have tested positive for COVID-19. They are in the contact list of Sister Clair who died of the virus in Vypin. The health department has prepared a list of those who came in contact with the nuns of Erumathala Province in Aluva. Excise circle inspector of Kochi North has also contracted the disease.

Meantime, there is a rise in cases through contact in Kochi. Of the 72 cases confirmed of the virus, 62 contracted it through contact. Restrictions have been tightened with more contracting the disease.
