Two COVID deaths in state, natives of Alappuzha and Kozhikode succumb to virus

ALAPPUZHA: Two died of COVID-19 in the state. Natives of Alappuzha and Kozhikode succumbed to the deadly disease. Cleitus of Canal Ward in Alappuzha died last night. He was 82.

Ahamed Hamsa of Nallalam in Kozhikode died while undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College. He was 72.

Six COVID deaths were reported in the state yesterday. Sathyan (54) of Sreekaryam in Thiruvananthapuram who died on August 2, Pathumma (76) of Palakkad who died on August 8, Moidu (59) of Wayanad who died on August 11, Kousau (65) of Kozhikode who died on August 12, Rajalakshmi of Kozhikode who died on August 15 and Vijaya (32) of Thiruvananthapuram who died on August 16, tested positive of the virus.
